SUTURE DESCRIPTION

“Filavi 910” suture is broaded for easy handling and secure knot tying. Coated for smooth passage through tissue and easy knot tie down. Synthetic for minimal tissue reaction. Absorbable by hydrolysis.

Filavi 910 suture typically falls off 7-10 days post-operative or can be wiped off subsequently with gauze. Normally the removal of the suture is not required.

INDICATIONS

Filavi 910 Suture is intended for use in soft tissue appricimation where only short term wound support is required and where the rapid absorption of the suture would be beneficial.

• Skin closure (intracutaneous, subcutaneous)
• Episiotomies
• Closure of Oral Mucosa
• Conjunctival sutures in ophthalmic surgery

• U.S.P. sizes 8-0 to 1. Supplied as needled sutures and ligatures.
• Suture length available with needle: 45cms to 150cms
• Needle lengths: 12mm to 60mm attached to various needle point profiles
